On September 7, the Cité de la Santé Foundation had the privilege of unveiling the all new Denali HD carts, which will help soothe young patients before their surgery.
It all started in the spring of 2021, when nurse Mélanie Lamoureux asked us for projects via Loto-Voyage, explaining that she would like the Foundation to finance the acquisition of such carts, as is done in several hospitals. It didn’t take much longer for us to solicit our networks, including our partner General Motors and especially the 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership who did not hesitate for a second. A few months later, the 2 Denali were delivered to the Hospital, to the delight of the teams who began to orchestrate the use of these little wonders and their “journey” to the operating room.
Angelica and Mohamed, two young day surgery patients, were fortunate enough to be the very first to try out the golf carts. The smile in their eyes was worth the effort!
