The Cité de la Santé Foundation is an organization that works to raise funds for the Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of Laval (all of the health and social services facilities grouped there). Thus, we collect, use and disclose information on a daily basis for the purposes of providing our services in terms of soliciting contributions of various forms, participating in events, draws and other fundraising activities. - When you register for benefit events and newsletters;
- When you make a donation to our organization, whatever the form of your donation;
- When you register as a volunteer for our organization.

- For marketing and business development purposes – to provide details of new events, information on developments in our organization and industry and invitations to seminars and events where an individual has opted in to receive such information.
- For research and development purposes (including from a security perspective) – to conduct analysis to better understand the service and marketing requirements of our donors and partners and to better understand our organization and develop our services and our offers.
- For recruitment purposes – to enable us to process job applications and assess whether an individual meets the requirements of the position for which they may apply at Cité de la Santé Foundation.

- To prevent fraud and/or conduct other background checks that may be required at any time under applicable law or regulation and/or best practices (if false or inaccurate information is provided or if fraud is noticed or suspected, information could be transmitted to fraud prevention organizations and could be recorded by us or by such organizations). Who do we share personal information with?
The Cité de la Santé Foundation is a legal form (non-profit organization duly incorporated and recognized as a charitable organization). Therefore, the personal information we collect may be transmitted to certain third parties, including the following:
- Clients of the Cité de la Santé Foundation for the purposes of recruiting human resources, volunteers for the purposes of administrative processing of data or for the purposes of soliciting financial or other contributions;

The organization uses the services of third-party sites, such as Google and Facebook, to promote its content and offers.

Where do we store personal information?
No personal information is transferred outside of Quebec. The Cité de la Santé Foundation uses the services of Prodon software (by the company Logilys) as a database. The information is stored on the secure servers of the CISSS de Laval.
How do we protect personal information?
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both when transmitted and once we receive it. We maintain appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, modification, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse or other unlawful form. processing of personal information in our possession.
