Béatrice Picard

Actress

Béatrice Picard, a great figure of Quebec culture, has played in more than 40 films or TV series and has also distinguished herself many times in the theater.
It was through television that the Quebec public discovered Béatrice Picard thanks to her participation in a television triology by Germaine Guèvremont.

Living in Laval since the early 2000s, she received care and services several times at the CISSS de Laval. In July 2022, following an episode of care at the Cité-de-la-Santé, where her life was saved thanks to the installation of a pacemaker, Ms. Picard decided to become Foundation Ambassador. A way for her to give back for the good care received.

Charles Hamelin

Olympic champion in short track speed skating

Charles and his wife Geneviève became ambassadors of the Foundation in 2020, following the birth of Violette, their first daughter, in Cité-de-la-Santé.
« We were treated so well at the Hospital, by all the staff, despite the difficult context of the pandemic, that we wanted to give back to the community. »

Geneviève Tardif

Host, reporter and sports columnist (Radio-Canada)

Geneviève and Charles became ambassadors of the Foundation in 2020, following the birth of Violette, their first daughter, in Cité-de-la-Santé. You should know that the family doctor responsible for follow-up and present at the delivery, Dr. François Lacombe, is also the one who followed the pregnancy and accompanied Geneviève's birth, some thirty years ago!

Jonathan Huberdeau

Professional Hockey Player (Calgary Flames, NHL)

Jonathan became an ambassador of the Foundation in 2022, following a very first philanthropic commitment by our side, as ambassador of the 2022 Golf Tournament, which reached an impressive amount of $215,000 raised for the Laval Cancer Program.

Born at Cité-de-la-Santé, Jonathan has a deep connection to this Hospital, especially as his mother was treated twice, for cancer.
