Each year, the Foundation enables the purchase of numerous pieces of equipment. For example, in 2021, a minisurgery microscope, a bladderscan and three infusion pumps were acquired to facilitate day surgeries and reduce waiting lists.

We fund various projects that improve the quality of care and services. For example, the offer of La Belle Visite workshops, in collaboration with the Dr Clown Foundation, in our CHSLDs to entertain residents and provide them with moments of comfort.

The Foundation supports numerous research projects at the CISSS de Laval. Each year, more than $150,000 is invested in clinical research projects that have a direct impact on patient care.

Each year, the Foundation pays $50,000 in continuing education and study grants to caregivers: nursing care and multidisciplinary care professionals (occupational therapists, technologists, social workers, physiotherapists, etc.).

In the facilities of the CISSS de Laval, the Foundation supports the redevelopment of certain units or the construction of new spaces. For example, in 2019, the new spaces for palliative care (block H) were inaugurated (a donation of $2 million).
