Purpose of the event

The Jonathan Huberdeau Golf Tournament is a must-attend fundraising event for the Cité de la Santé Foundation.

This year, the funds will be used to purchase a Holmium laser equipped with Moses technology, designed specifically for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. This new device will replace the current equipment and offer an alternative to open surgery, reducing the risk of complications, speeding up patient recovery, and shortening hospital stays.

In addition, it will allow urologists to treat Laval patients locally, without having to refer them to other institutions, thus avoiding long waiting lists at tertiary hospitals.
