The fundraising event will be held in Laval on Saturday, June 7.
Rain or shine, participants will walk a 5 km route, alone or with their family, to raise funds for children who have lost a parent in military conflicts in Armenia. A contribution will also be made to the Cité de la Santé Foundation.
A total fundraising target of $45,000 has been set.
Departure is from the Centre communautaire Arménien de Laval, 397 boul. des Prairies, Laval-des-Rapides. Parents with children in strollers are welcome. A festive reception awaits walkers on their return.

Founded in 1993, the Croix de Secours Arménienne de Laval Inc (CSA Shoushi) is an independent non-profit organization that responds to the humanitarian needs of the Armenian people and seeks to preserve cultural identity while encouraging integration into the Laval community. It organizes development activities and educational events such as conferences, seminars and cultural outings. It also offers post-secondary scholarships and certificates of involvement for young volunteers.
